Vintage Knickerbocker mohair jointed teddy bear with original tag, early 1950s

Fantastic vintage Knickerbocker jointed mohair teddy bear with glass eyes and original tag. Non-working squeaker, otherwise it is in remarkable condition for its age. From their Animals of Distinction line.

It is 13" tall and is 10" when seated. This tag dates the bear to the early 1950s when they added the words Animals of Distinction to the 1940s tag. Additionally, I can only combine items in one box if all the items can safely be packaged together. Most of my items are used, vintage or antique and come directly from estate auctions. I try to describe my items as accurately and honestly as possible and to disclose any signs of wear or imperfections that I see.
