Vintage Golden Mohair Jointed Growler Teddy Bear Prob Steiff C. 1950s
Vintage Golden Mohair Jointed Teddy Bear, probably Steiff c. Brown and black plastic eyes, black nose and mouth stitching, swivel head, jointed limbs, felt pads, stitched claws, growler which makes a noise when bear shaken but is a little temperamental. Height 12.5/ 31cm approx. One ear damaged and has been restitched on but is now smaller than the other ear, possibly where steiff button removed, see images.
Repair to top of one arm along seam and small repair to one leg at seam. Some minor mohair loss and light marks to pads. Some restitching along chest seam. Please note, due to Covid restrictions the post office have reduced their opening hours therefore I may only be able to post items on a Saturday.
