Vintage 1990s Mary Thiele 17 Mink & Diamonds OOAK The Duchess Teddy Bear

Offering a one of a kind, artisan teddy bear by Mary Thiele for the Bear Artists Association. This bear stands 17 tall and comes with a white metal stand. She has pale golden beige mohair and glass eyes in a two tone of red and brown. Her nose and lips are hand sewn and waxed thread. I call her the Duchess for he expression and her attire.

She is wearing a mink stole (and I think this is actually real mink) and long rhinestone (diamond) earrings. She carries a silk bag with tassel accents. Her expression says it all: I can't help it if I'm fabulous! She dates from the 1990s and has an original Mary Thiele tag sewn into her back.
