Phoebe 1920's Chiltern Bear 12 Old Antique English Mohair Teddy Bear

Phoebe dates to the 1920's, and is a Chiltern Teddy Bear made in England. She measures 12 inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed with woodwool and kapok.

She's in really lovely condition for a bear coming up to around 100!!! Original painted back glass eyes, original facial stitching, and completely intact original pads - which i love! She has really good clean fur coverage and has a really even has her own "beauty spot" (finish from a nose stitch) which is just super cute.

Oh she's a poppet! At some point along the way, one of his favourite small people made sure she was kept warm and cosy, and gave her a lovely knitted cardie, and Phoebe loves it!! She's an endearing little ted, and ready to become someone's new bear-st friend! Please note, this item is not a toy, and is suitable for adult collectors only.
