Such a special--and huge--teddy bear by American artist Donna Hinkelman of Bainbridge Bears--one of the country's most beloved bear makers. Thomas measures a whopping 32 (bottom of heel to top of head, but not the ears). He's made of lovely, hand-dyed mohair that is intentionally multi-colored caramel.
Nicely shaded in all the right places, he is five-way jointed, has glass eyes, a hand-stitched nose and mouth, and wool felt paw pads. Thomas would make a wonderful television companion... I'm sure he'd love to watch Paddington.
