Little Gray Bear by artist C. Just about 4 inches tall. One of a kind small teddy bear.

Hand Made in the USA One-of-a-Kind OOAK. This bear is new, stored in cabinet, although it has never been played with, it is from the artist's collection. A lovely unique bear made from gray distressed wool mohair.

The tiniest little teddy wearing a pair of vintage doll's shoes. Adorable and ready to share his secrets with a new friend. Features blue glass eyes, and cotton floss details. Meet my Little Gray Bear in dolly shoes. I imagined him being in dolly's room and seeing her shoes and not being able to resist trying them on.

They're a little too big. Not unlike when we were small and tried on mother or dad's shoes. I have him standing right next to me as I type, and there he sill looking up at me in his dolly shoes... I'm too cute to leave. - But alas, a mother, or in this case, the creator, must give all her little ones wings...

And so this one is getting pushed out of the nest. He is an early bear, dated 7/88 and numbered 566.1 which means at that time the bears I made were numbered consecutively he was number 566, and the first from this fabric. He is just as sweet as could be.

He wears nothing else, just the doll shoes. His leather tag, on his back is a little beat up, but clearly intact. Hard to believe I made him over 20 years ago. He is made from gray distressed mohair, that was distressed by me, back in the early days of bears, there wasn't much choice of fancy mohair fabrics like there is today. Perhaps part of the reason I want to get sewing again.

I've enjoyed having this little bear very much. He is still a joy standing right next to me now. I hope he'll bring you as many smiles as he has me. It would make a wonderful gift for the teddy bear lover in your life, even if that is you!! When you consider that well over 10,000 different bears were made by the Roosevelt Bear Co, this is a truly unique bear.
