Large antique, ride-on, mohair teddy BEAR? On iron wheels, glass eyes & collar
Here is a wonderful, very early, antique, hard stuffed, heavy blonde, bear-on-cast-iron-wheels, circa 1920, with original brown glass eyes and original brown felt pads. He has a black stitched floss nose and mouth, very personable and sweet face and retains his original brown leather collar. He has the distinct hump in his back, and measures about 20" from tip of nose to the base of his his little tail (plus tail of 2 1/2") and about 13" high and over 8 1/4" wide at wheel base. He has his original growler inside his chest although the pull-string is missing and behaves well with other bears, dolls and animals and is in very good overall condition with no missing or torn parts, no breaks, no wheel damage and no stains or odors as he is from a smoke free home. His stiff bristle mohair, blond or light beige mohair shows only slight even wear (considered normal for a well loved toy over a 100 year's old) with no missing hide and no moth holes. He's truly a treasure and ready for a new home. He's very gentle with dolls and does not bite. Other items, shown in last few photos, are not included and will be listed separately.
