Large 20 antique Steiff Teddy Bear 1943 vintage German with Steiff Button

This stunning large old Steiff Teddy bear retains his button, oozes character and is dressed in his original 1943 clothing. This charming antique teddy bear from Steiff carries the warmth of a bygone era. Standing at 50 cm 19.5 inches tall, he is fully jointed and lovingly stuffed with wood wool.

His light blonde wool plush and distinctive humpback add a touch of timeless elegance to his character. There is almost no signs of thinning to the plush and he remains in strong condition. This ted has original glass eyes and all this nose/mouth and claws are original stitching. All pads are also original in wonderful condition. His arms and legs are long and ears placed on the top corners of his head. This precious teddy bear tells a story of years gone by with his original charm, highlighting the enduring appeal of this vintage piece. Please note that his Steiff button is still attached. Measurements are as follows 50 cm (19.5 inches) in standing.
