Fantastic 25 Golden Brown Mohair Teddy Bear by artist Pamela Wooley

A wonderful 25 artist bear created by Pamela Wooley in 1988. The bear is 35 years old, but in mint condition from a smoke free home. It is made out of curly, golden mohair with ultra suede paws. He is wearing an old collar, a bow tie, and a pair of antique glasses. Other than the tag sewn into the bear, I have no other hang tag identifying if it was a one of a kind or a limited edition.

Pamela Wooley was a premier teddy bear artist for over 30 years. Her bears were extremely popular and were regularly featured in magazines and calendars. Due to her popularity, and the quality of her designs, Ashton-Drake signed her to design Teddy Bears for them. This is one of her handmade artist's bears, not one manufactured by Ashton-Drake.
