Antique, Well Loved, Mommy Mends, EVERYWHERE, Baldish, Teddy Bear Possibly Steiff

I have collected teds for approximately 35 years maybe closer to 45 now. I only bought ones that tugged at my heart.

I overlooked the condition altogether for charm & character & boy howdy does this bear have both. He once upon a time had rich golden mohair but now just a few tufts are left. I would guess he is 98% bald.

He may have an early squeeze box inside as it feels like it. One arm & one leg are still jointed but the other 3 joints have been sewn down.

I adore all the mommy mends, one of the main reasons I fell in love with him. He has a fairly long upturned arm & rather big feet for his size. I believe his black, wooden, shoe button eyes are original just like I believe his nose is original too. I hope he touches your heart the way he has melted mine, all these years.
