ANTIQUE Teddy Bear MANDY from English Museum 16in Vintage Condition in Lace Gown

MANDY ENGLISH MUSEUM COLLECTION OVER-LOVED ANTIQUE TEDDY BEAR. IN BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE LACE CHRISTENING GOWN.

English Museum Collection Teddy Bear from the Estate of John McBride. In played-with vintage condition, with repairs, almost bald, etc. Very old and over-loved, bald Antique teddy bear.

Restoration and any repairs etc. Antique Teddy Bear "Mandy" is a 16 inch over-loved British Teddy Bear who was originally gold mohair. Mandy is jointed, with Original rexine pawpads. She is wearing an Antique English Lace baby's Christening gown.

From the owner's private collection (down-sizing as retiring). Mandy is just about bald, so dressed in a gorgeous, frail cream lace Antique English either Victorian or Edwardian baby's Christening Gown. It has age marks especially on the back of the gown and a few nicks, consistent with age, which can be seen in the close-up photographs.

The top layer is sheer lace and under that is a full length under dress. She wears an enamel MANDY name pin in one ear. Mandy is very old and has a "birthmark" repair on her chin (see photos) and hardly any mohair left at all, so please see the large, close-up photographs of her condition details. She comes with her Museum Authenticity Card tag included (see photograph).
