Very old and over-loved, bald Antique teddy bear. Restoration and any repairs etc.

Antique Teddy Bear "Emily" is a. 17 inch over-loved British Teddy Bear who was originally gold mohair. Emily is jointed, with Original rexine pawpads.

She is wearing an Antique English silk baby's Christening gown. From the owner's private collection (down-sizing as retiring). She wears an enamel EMILY name pin in one ear, and is wearing an exquisite Antique either Victorian or Edwardian English silk baby's Christening dress, with short sleeves, lace-trimmed. It is fragile but all original, in good Vintage condition, with only a few tiny holes and some small marks.

35 inches long, it has beautiful layers of lace. Emily is very old and is just about bald. She has hardly any mohair left at all, so please see the large, close-up photographs and ask for more if interested. She comes with her Museum Authenticity Card tag included (see photograph). In 1994 the Tetbury Teddy Bear Museum in the Cotswolds, England, closed and John bought many of the wonderful teddy bears and props.
