He really is in lovely condition for his age circa 1950s champagne mohair glass size silver button in ear , The pads possibly have been re-felted though this does not detract from he/she as this is a stunning bear for a collector , heirloom present, birth / christening present. Steiff bears were and still are the rolls Royce of teddy bears , and stand the test of time as they are such a classic style , each one having its own character , can send an ornate card description etc if this is a present - also the bear can be named if preferred or left to his/her new owner to decide!
