ANTIQUE GERMAN STEIFF TEDDY BEAR. Adorable 12 early German Steiff teddy bear in Excellent All-Original Condition with his FF Ear Button still intact! This perfect little Steiff teddy is named "Goose, " and he dates to the early 1900s (circa 1907) with no repairs and is a strong and clean bear. This little farmer has a nice big hump on his back, beautiful long limbs, perfect original paw and foot pads and only has a few areas of typical mohair thinning on his face and limbs.
Goose still has lots of his original clean beige mohair with no odors. Teddy is jointed 5-ways and all joints work well. He is stuffed with excelsior in his entire body and the great thing is that it has not broken down over the years so there are no saggy areas and he is strong enough to live another hundred years! Goose is a pouty bear! He has an adorable facial expression of the early German teddies.He looks so cute in his Lee jean overalls and will come to his new home wearing them.
