21 OOAK TEDDY BEAR MONROE 1914 SERIES PROTOTYPE DEB BEARDSLEY/BEARDSLEY BEARS. Monroe is the prototype Teddy Bear for the new 1914 Series by artist Deb Beardsley/Beardsley Bears. Fashioned in an early American pattern style produced by Ideal during the World War I era. He is a large teddy, 21 tall, fully jointed, hand dyed and distressed mohair and has a hump back. Stuffed with excelsior, weighted with encased steel shot. Amber glass eyes with perle cotton, wide stitched, black horizontal nose and mouth. Three stitched claws on each paw. He wears a custom, vintagized sweater and a black bow tie. Also comes with a laminated Who You Have Beside You bracelet and his signed artist hang tag with a laminated illustration of a boy from a vintage card. Touché tag also in place.
