Vintage Golden Mohair Teddy Bear made in England by JK Farnell in the 1940s or 1950s. He measures 14 inches tall when standing.
He was produced during or just after the war, so has a shortened muzzle and stubby limbs (to save on fabric). He's fully jointed and his head swivels. He has dark amber and black glass eyes, a black vertically stitched nose, inverted Y-shaped mouth stitching, and original Rexine pads. Pads are in Fair condition, the rexine is cracked but there are no holes or tears.
There are no claws stitching. The company's Farnell Alpha Shield Label is attached to the bottom of his foot. The label has folded under, but is still firmly attached. His Rexine pads are worn, and there are areas where the Mohair has worn.Could use a gentle cleaning.
