Steiff Mohair large 1950s teddy bear original vintage stuffed toy glass eyes

This is an original vintage 1950s large Steiff light brown classic teddy bear with articulated limbs and head, and sawdust stuffing, a testament to his age. Made from light brown mohair, with the original glass eyes, he has been very loved, as can be seen from his condition, but this, to my mind, only adds to his vintage charm. These toys were passed down from my family and are all originally from Germany. As these are extremely old toys, and I have listed all flaws.

Stitches on chest perhaps I attempted surgery on this toy as a child? Threadbare in parts as shown. Stuffing in arms a bit loose. Stain on right paw pad.

Missing the'Steiff Knopf im Ohr' button. I removed these as a small child as they'bothered' me. Now I wish I hadn't! Approximately 14 / 36cm tall.
