11 ANTIQUE'20s GUSTAV FORSTER HARLEQUIN TEDDY BEAR, GERMANY, PIN JOINTED ARMS. Rare Harlequinn Teddy Bear by Gustav Forster of Germany as I've been told.

Forster Mainly known for his dolls, so rare his bears. If indeed Forster, Teddy would have been made in Coburg, Germany between 1922-30s. Regardless of maker, holding this t his handmade teddy has been very lovingly and carefully crafted. He is 11 tall, hard stuffed with pin jointed arms.

His head is made of orange bristly mohair. His body is the Harlequin outfit made of felt. Amber glass funnel stem eyes. Black horizontal nose and mouth stitching are complete and intact. Toes of his felt feet have excelsior showing through small holes.
